Studio Owner/Photographer of Emily Karcher Photography, LLC is a 15-year Crofton resident, and has been a professional photographer specializing in dynamic and fine-art storytelling for families, businesses and events for 8 years throughout the Washington, D.C., and Outer Banks areas.  After facing breast cancer and a simultaneous loss in 2015, the idea for "Picture the Good" was inspired by her personal mantra on her healing journey.  One thing that has kept her positive is the hope that there’s always something new and inspiring just around the corner - even if it's as simple as creating something beautiful for her home.  Picture the Good is an ode to that hope.  Long before a global pandemic, the idea for this space was hatched from the notion that if we're open to it, good can be found all around us.
